CPA Contract Lift

A hirer who wants a lift to be undertaken but does not have the relevant expertise should ask Direct Crane Hire Ltd to undertake a contract lift.

We will:-

Carry out all work as per British Standard 7121 ‘Safe use of cranes’ and LOLER (Lifting Operation & Lifting Equipment Regulations).
Supply the Appointed Person, lift supervisors and slinger / signallers.
Supply suitable craneage and Insurance cover as per CPA Contract Lift Terms & Conditions.
Write a method statement, risk assessment, lifting plan etc to ensure the lift is carefully planned and carried out.
Organise and control the lifting operation.

The hirer requiring a load to be lifted must:

Carry out all work as per British Standard 7121 ‘Safe use of cranes’ and LOLER (Lifting Operation & Lifting Equipment Regulations).
Supply a qualified Appointed Person.
Supply a qualified Signaller Slinger.
Assess correct craneage requirements.
Have adequate and appropriate insurance cover.
Write a method statement, risk assessment, lifting plan etc to ensure the lift is carefully planned and carried out.
Check the credentials and certifications of the crane hire company.

All crane hire operations will be carried out under the CPA Terms & Conditions.
